Philippines farm-to-market roads

The provincial government of Nueva Vizcaya has completed the concreting of more than 80 kilometers of farm-to-market roads last year, the provincial engineering office bared.

Dennis Naui, provincial engineer, said that of the total figure, 56.98 kilometers were implemented by the administration while 23.05 kilometers were undertaken by contract, amounting to more than P7 million.

“As of now, we are still in the process of concreting the remaining road projects implemented by the administration last year,” he said.

These remaining road projects, he said were the concreting of the one-kilometer Nagsabaran-Decabacan-Ampakleng road in Diadi town and the 783-meter Lactawan-Uddiawan-San Juan-Bintawan road in Solano town, La Torre – Casat – Wacal road project in Bayombong town;

Indiana–lmaguer–Ineangan road in barangay Almaguer South in Bambang town; San Luis–Villa Aurora in Diadi town and the Luyang reservoir road in Bayombong town.

The Padol bridge in Quezon town was already constructed through the more than P8 million funding requirement. Other buildings and parks constructed were the more than P2-million capitol powerhouse, P1.8-million three-classroom building of Mauan Elementary School in Bambang town.
