The Zamboanga City Fire District has earned a total of P3.85 million in collections for fire safety code fees paid by small and big business corporations, establishments and companies in this city, last year.
These fees are collected from establishments as they renew their annual business permits which ended last January 20.
District Fire Marshal, Fire Supt. Dominador Zabala, Jr., said that last year’s collection was over 10.58 percent more than the P3.485 million collection for 2010.
Zabala attributed the increase in revenue collections to the increase in number of new business corporations, companies or stores opening in this city.
